Langley City First is pleased to launch our platform. The platform outlines our policies, what we’ve done over the last four years to move the needle forward, and what we plan to do through 2030 if we are elected.

The key pillars of our platform include:

• Improve parks, trails, and waste management

• Increase the tree canopy

• Continue to hire police and firefighters, alongside prevention and community-based solutions from the City’s Assembly

• Create a community where people belong, connect, and can find support when they need it

• Pushing the province and feds on real solutions for public safety, housing, and health

• Growing our local economy through the Langley Innovation District plan, SkyTrain, and KPU

• Ensure Langley City’s government remains accessible, responsive, and financially responsible

• Building a community where people can afford to live

• Provide real transportation choice with SkyTrain coming, reliable road and sidewalk upkeep, and a safety-first approach to e-mobility
